[Hair long-lasting removal]:
The technique targets melanin, the chromophore contained in hair and hair follicles. Light absorption rapidly elevates the temperature above 70°C - the temperature at which follicle is destroyed - making it unable to produce a new hair. Most of our hair is in the resting phase which explains why more than one treatment is necessary.
